HOW OUR TIME HELPS KIDS WHO STUTTER

Effective communication is at the core of the performing arts, and Our Time is the first organization to use this exceptional tool to help kids who stutter overcome their fear of speech.  Participants learn how to communicate clearly and powerfully, regardless of their fluency, giving them the confidence to speak in any situation.

Our Time has four core programs that help kids who stutter:

1. Our Time NYC is a year-round program that serves children who stutter, ages 8-18, from the New York Tri-State Area.

2. Camp Our Time is a sleep-away camp that welcomes children who stutter, as well as their young family members and friends, ages 8-18, from across the nation and abroad.

3. Speech Therapy is a year-round program that serves children who stutter, ages 2-18, from the New York Tri-State Area.

4. LLLet Me Finish is a year-round educational, anti-bullying and awareness-building program founded and run by 11-year old Camp Our Time participant Saadiq Wicks.
