our time tour

Since its inaugural season, Our Time has reached out to a wide audience though its Tour Program. Our Time Theatre Company has appeared at conferences and conventions held by organizations such as the International Fluency Association (Dublin, Ireland in 2006 and Montreal, Canada in 2003), National Stuttering Association (Fort Worth, TX in 2011, Cleveland, OH in 2010, Scottsdale, AZ in 2009, Parsippany, NJ in 2008, Chicago, IL in 2005, Baltimore, MD in 2004, and Anaheim, CA in 2002), Friends (Washington DC in 2011, Chicago, IL in 2010, Tampa, FL in 2009, New Orleans, LA in 2008, Philadelphia, PA in 2006, Cleveland, OH in 2005, San Francisco, CA in 2004, and Secaucus, NJ in 2003) and New York State Speech-Language and Hearing Association (Rye, NY in 2004). Our Time has also appeared at several schools and universities including the Graduate Center at the City University of New York, NYC's Board of Education Staff Development Day, Columbia University, NYU, and Queens College.

As Our Time's visibility has grown, the company has received requests from all over the world to perform. Performing nationally and internationally is an extremely valuable tool in educating, entertaining, and inspiring as many people as possible. The Tour Program allows company members to serve as ambassadors of acceptance and hope to an ever-growing audience while building up their confidence and self-esteem and exposing them to diverse communities and cultures.

The success of the Our Time Tour has fostered a growing demand for the Our Time experience to reach more people. Thus, the Tour served as an impetus for Camp Our Time, which will serve young people who stutter and their siblings from all over the world.
